Andy Parkin is regarded as one of the world's finest alpine climbers. In 1984, he suffered a major climbing accident in the Alps. Many believed his love affair with mountains was over. Andy's slow rehabilitation involved painting and sculpting the mountains that had so very nearly claimed his life. Now he is known as much for his art as his climbing. Incredibly, Andy also returned to climb again, adapting his climbing style to his damaged body. Twenty-five years after his accident, this film follows Andy as he works on an autobiographical piece of art.
